GLOs

GLO 1: Self Directed Learner:

- I encourage all my students to utilize the resources they have around them to increase their learning. I work on teaching independence and effort to all of the students that I support.

GLO 2: Community Contributor

- I teach life skills, transition skills, and soft work skills to students I support with the help of other staff members and outside providers.

GLO 3: Complex Thinker

- I encourage all of my students to critically think on how to solve problems they face in their classwork as well as everyday situations. I act as a sounding board for them to bounce ideas off of with guided questions and prompting.

GLO 4: Quality Producer

- I encourage my students to follow the process for all their work; the planning stage, production, review and editing and final production.

GLO 5: Effective Communicator

- My students are advocates for themselves and we continually work on these self advocacy skills to communicate with peers, staff and families to assist their learning. Students work on communication in one on one scenarios as well as groups.

GLO 6: Effective and Ethical User of Technology

- Students are provided technology and taught how to effectively use that technology appropriately. I work on them using their Google Suite to participate in all of their classes at Baldwin. We also have access to applications to support student learning and I work on introducing my supported students to these additional supports.
