About Me
I was born and raised in Colorado but have called Hawaii home for over 20 years. Before teaching, I worked as an aquarist and then a research assistance at an aquaculture facility on Oahu. After receiving my Post Baccalaureate in Second Education I spent seven years teaching environmental science, physics and biology. After my third child was born, I transitioned into a new role as a mentor teacher. During my 15 years at Baldwin High School I have also been a testing coordinator, distance learning coordinator and this year I have added the title of curriculum coordinator.
