About Me

I am originally from Bandon, Oregon, a little coastal town.  I attended Southern Oregon University and graduated in 2007 with my BS in Mathematics and in 2009 with my MA in Teaching.  I moved to Maui with my wife in September of 2009 to teach at Baldwin High School.  I have taught every level of math from Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus.  I have also been the head cross-country coach since 2015.  As I tell my students every year I am one of the weirdest people you will ever meet because of how much I enjoy both mathematics and running.
