General Learner Outcomes (GLO's)

Self-directed Learner (The ability to be responsible for one's own learning): Student's are able to independently complete work such as the PE Project, which includes creating their own health and fitness goals.
 
Community Contributor (The understanding that it is essential for human beings to work together): Student's are able to work together by playing different types of team sports, as well as partnering up in physical activities, such as weight-lifting, and circuit training.
 
Complex Thinker (The ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving): Students are able to learn about Health and physical fitness and think about how this will help themselves, their family, and their community. Also, ways to implement this as they become adults.
 
Quality Producer (The ability to recognize and produce quality performance and quality products): Students are able to create quality fitness plans and implement them in their daily lives, for example, fitness plan in the PE project, weight-lifting plan etc.
 
Effective Communicator (The ability to communicate effectively): Students are able to communicate with their peers by participating in sports, fitness circuits, and weightlifting workouts.
 
Effective and Ethical User of Technology (The ability to use a variety of technologies effectively and ethically): Students learn how to use heart rate watches, as well as using the computer to research about various health and fitness topics.
