Students generally investigate and develop new content through group work which develops their ability to effectively communicate (GLO #5) and contribute to their learning community (GLO #2.)  Lesson obejctives are celarly presented at the beginning of each class so that they know what is expected of them (GLO #4.) Online applications, such as Desmos Graphical Calculator, are often used in class to reinforce understanding and promote effective and ethical use of technology (GLO #6.) All credit for tasks accomplished are recorded in the school's student information system, Infinite Campus, upon which students are required to track their progress (GLO #1.)  Students are also given choice homework assignments.
