About me
I'm a Maui boy, born and raised here. I grew up all over the island (Kahului, Kihei, Haliimaile, Waiehu, Wailuku).
I'm a proud graduate of Henry Perrine Baldwin High School (class of 1996).
After graduating from USC in 2000, I worked in California and Oahu. I then returned to Baldwin in 2018 as an English teacher.
I teach English (10th grade Honors and 12th grade). This is my 9th year teaching. I am passionate about writing and I love to teach students how to express themselves through writing. Prior to being an English teacher, all of my adult life has been spent in writing careers (journalist and public relations officer/speechwriter).
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy fishing and doing jiu jitsu with my sons. I am also the boys head coach for Baldwin's track and field team.
