About Me
Background
After graduating from Baldwin High School, I earned my Bachelors and Masters teaching degrees at Seattle University. I began my teaching career with the Bellevue School District in Bellevue, Washington. After a few years, I moved back home to Maui to accept a teaching position here at Baldwin High School.
Teaching
During my tenure at Baldwin High School, I have taught English 9, Honors English 9, AP English Language and Composition, and AP English Literature and Composition. For the 2023-2024 school year, I currently teach AP Language and AP Literature.
Baldwin Community
Besides teaching English, I am the co-head coach for our Baldwin Swim & Dive team and the head coach for our Girls Water Polo team. I also serve as a mentor teacher to support beginning teachers on staff.
